Improving students’ reading comprehension through visualization strategy

This research was aimed to improve students' reading comprehension ability through the visualization strategy, and also investigate students’ perception toward use of strategy. The subjects were 30 students class VIII at SMPN 1 Seputih Raman. One group pre-test post-test designs used in this research. instruments tests (pre-and post-test) questionnaires. result showed that student's average progress score from 52.37 became 70,67 post-test. After that, Paired Sample t-test confirmed hypothesis proposed by researcher there significant differences p<0.05, p = .000. results questionnaire answer second question most perceptions above 70% high category. Therefore, based on result, it is concluded student’s strategy classified as a positive perception.
